Description
I am well versed in the Scratch coding program and have consistently scored well in my English essays from middle school to college. I am a thorough editor and focus on discussing with those who have asked for my advice, about what they can improve to highlight their argument in their writing. I am a strong believer in the saying “teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime” and focus on the positive learning aspect of tutoring. I have tutored before in mathematics, which is my strong suit. As I am a mathematics minor, I am proficient in Algebra to Calculus and not only have a passion for the subject, but can teach it well to those who are struggling in it. If one teaching method does not work, I will switch to another that best fits the student’s learning style. As a Molecular Biology major, I am also proficient in biology and chemistry and have taken AP as well as college classes for those subjects.
My PSAT score was 1510, my SAT score was 1530, and my ACT score was 34.
